Insight is Hiring a Radiology Manager Near Chicago, IL
- Oversee the day-to day operations of the Radiology Department, including scheduling, staffing, and workflow management.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, safety standards, and quality assurance protocols.
- Manage and optimize radiology equipment and resources to ensure maximum efficiency and uptime.
- Develop an implement policies and procedures to enhance departmental efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to radiology technologists and support staff.
- Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate diagnostic imaging services.
- Monitor departmental performance metrics and implement strategies to improve productivity, quality, and patient satisfaction.
- Participate in budget planning and management for the radiology department.
- Stay informed about advancements in radiology technology and best practices, and implement relevant changes to improve departmental operations.
- Bachelor's Degree in Radiologic Technology, Healthcare Administration, or related field(Master's Degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Radiology, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
- Strong leadership, communication,, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and quality assurance standards.
- Proficiency in communication systems(PACS).
